Abstract:   The sessions will present state-of-the-art examples on the use of HPC to solve challenging problems of societal importance both in industry and in academia. The session will highlight the use of HPC in several areas of energy production, the use of HPC to study atomization and reactive flows in gas turbines and automotive engines, and other examples of HPC applications.
