Christian Clémençon

Christian Clémençon is managing HPC resources at the EPFL, including Blue Gene supercomputers. He received his M.S. degree in Computer Science from the EPFL in 1987. He was a researcher in the field of software development tools for parallel and distributed systems from 1988 to 1995 at the EPFL, at the Georgia Institute of Technology and in the Swiss Scientific Computing Center (CSCS). Then, he worked in the development of semiconductor simulation (TCAD) tools in Switzerland and in the USA. He joined the HPC group of the EPFL in 2005 as a systems engineer and since then has been in charge of the three Blue Gene systems operated by the EPFL. His areas of interest include I/O Systems for massively parallel computers.
