Prof. Dr. Kenneth Ruud

Professor of Theoretical & Computational Chemistry, University of Tromsø

Kenneth Ruud is a professor in theoretical and computational chemistry at the University of Tromsø, Norway, where he is the director of the Centre for Theoretical and Computational Chemistry (CTCC), a Norwegian Centre of Excellence. His research interests include the study of molecular properties in complex media using multiscale methods on parallel computers. He is the president of the Norwegian Chemical Society and the chair of the Scientific Steering Committee in PRACE, the Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe.
