Abdelhalim Amer is a PhD student at the Department of Mathematical and Computing Sciences of Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan. He received his M.Sc. degree from the National School of Computer Science (ESI), Algeria, in 2010. Hi research interests include programming models on emerging parallel architectures, performance modeling and tuning, and energy efficiency in the context of High Performance Computing (HPC).
