Bettina KrammerManaging Director of MoRitS Nano- and Biotechnology, Bielefeld University & University of Applied Sciences Bielefeld
Bettina Krammer started to work in the area of parallel tools development more than 10 years ago at the HLRS (High Performance Computing Center Stuttgart), where she developed the Marmot MPI correctness checker. In 2008, she joined Université de Versailles St-Quentin-en-Yvelines (UVSQ) as Technical Director of LRC ITACA, a joint lab between CEA DAM and UVSQ, which is specialized on performance evaluation of parallel systems, compiler optimizations, memory system architecture and optimization, numerical and embedded libraries, and low-level code optimization. In 2009 she became Head of the Software Tools department at the then newly founded Exascale Computing Research Center, an initiative supported by CEA, GENCI, Intel and UVSQ, with research teams working on application characterisation, programming models and runtime environment, and performance tools. Since 2013, she has worked as Managing Director of MoRitS, a joint initiative between Bielefeld University & University of Applied Sciences Bielefeld in the field of nano- and biotechnology, which conducts diverse research projects combining theory, experimentation, and modelling and simulation, likewise.
